With a name like “Walkover Micro Farm” we are obviously considerably smaller than a regular farm. Micro Farms are usually defined as farms that are 5 acres in size or less. Walkover Micro Farm is an urban farm located on a residential lot in Sacramento, California that is approximately a quarter of an acre in size.
All of our produce is “organically grown”. By this we mean that there are NO pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, artificial chemical fertilizers or any synthetic products used in the growing of our crops. We also use only filtered water on our crops which is better for the soil microbiome and the plants that grow in it. That is why our motto is “Conscious Farming From the Ground Up”.
