Snow Peas
Snow Peas are easy to grow and can handle Northern California’s mild winter temperatures.
Time For Some Pruning
With the help of colder December and January temperatures along with some winds, the leaves have finally fallen. January is pruning time here at Walkover as spring is right around the corner. The majority of pruning is done this time of year to ensure that the energy of these plants is stored in the roots at the time that they are pruned.
Radishes In The Winter
Radishes are a fall/winter favorite and they are very easy to grow. They are also fast growing and withstand the frost of mild Northern California winters just fine. The radishes do not seem to be bothered by all of the rain that we’ve gotten this year so far which makes them an even more practical choice.
